About

I received my life coach training from the Coach Training Alliance and my practice is limited exclusively to women.  As a female, I can identify with what we encounter in our lives.  Some of these experiences include climbing the corporate ladder, building and strong and sound marriage and leaving the corporate life to become an entrepreneur.

My approach is gentle but straightforward.  I ask tough, thought provoking questions that keep my clients focused on accomplishing their goals.  My sincerity is balanced with humor and compassion.  In all sessions, I strive to create comfort in our frank discussions.  There is no dancing around the issues.  We deal with them!

Prior to becoming a life coach and motivational speaker, I spent twenty years in human resources.  That career gave me the opportunity to develop my skills as a talent scout, compensation guru and consultant to management.  It provided me numerous opportunities to coach individuals at all levels including CEOs.  I’ve worked collaboratively with managers to help create well-functioning departments that empowered employees to reach and grow.

My corporate experience included executive level positions with Xerox Corporation and several technology startups in Silicon Valley.  I’ve also provided consulting services to Dow Chemical and taught career management for Lee Hecht Harrison.

Originally, I hail from the Midwest where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Central Michigan University.  Typical of my nickname, I fled the cold climate seeking a place in the sun and have resided in both Florida and California.

I currently live in Rancho Mirage, California with my husband John.  As a hobby, I love to cook and have been featured in several community publications.  I’ve also appeared on a local television show, “Cooking With Jackie.”  What a kick!

Community involvement is very important to me as I love actively working to make a positive difference.  I am a member and former president of the American Business Women’s Association – Trendsetter Chapter.  I’m also a member of the Palm Desert Sunrise Chapter of Soroptimist International.

I consider myself to be a change master.  Change… a small six letter word… yet so big and sometimes so scary.  However, we can truly create our life choices and tailor them to the seasons of our lives.  This gives us the ability to live out our dreams.
